Poor George...
After a week of headlines, and widespread criticism, boxing promoter
Damon Feldman appears to have called off his planned “celebrity” boxing match between George Zimmerman and rapper DMX. “I want to thank everyone for the good n bad comments I’ve made the choice to cancel the fight w George Zimmermann more to life than money [sic],” Feldman tweeted this afternoon. The event, which was supposed to be available via pay-per-view, sparked a huge backlash with pundits and even a petition urging for it to be called off. -- Poor George Zimmerman. I guess he's back to shooting kids so he can take away their snacks and beating up women because...he can.  |
