Default Will CLR Harm Sail Fabric?

I plan to use a product called CLR, (Calcium, Lime and Rust), to
remove lime deposits from the eyelets and cleats on my sails. My
question is will this stuff harm the sails? Is it acidic? I think lime
is caustic, so anything acidic would attack lime. But is this the case
with CLR? Will it eat up the fabric?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Does it have an ingredients list on the label? (I'd guess Oxalic acid)

snip

Check with a sailmaker. I would doubt that it would be safe. Sailcloth
has resins to help hold the strands in place.

marble in a bathroom is exceedingly rare for houses built after 1903.

Maybe it is time you moved into a newer tract home.

Generally speaking, CLR will not harm fabric. However, it will etch almost
anything containing calcium (that's what the C is its name stands for). DO
NOT use it on concrete or marble, or other calcium based substances.
