My task of the moment is getting my wife's Windoze computer to have our server show up as a shared device or device, like it does on our macs. So far I haven't figured out which rosetta stone I need to do this. You can do it wirelessly, ethernet, or through a usb port or possibly through bluetooth if your stuff is close enough together.*AND* You have to set up a LAN like Mr Luddite said. Do you have something specific to suggest? I already know I can connect wired or wirelessly. USB and bluetooth are not practical because of distance. But that's not the issue. The issue is getting it to show up as a shared device. But I may have found the answer, once I get back to that task. My Mac's found the server as a device right away, without any additional effort on my part. Well do it and see if the server shows up on your device list |
