Sounds good. Maybe next time I'll get my regular (Country Boy Breakfast - double grits) *and* that

fancy-assed cheeseburger.

I can tell my grandkids I'm trying to grow big and tall, like Tim!

LOL!

IMO and contrary to someones personal belief; Cracker Barrel isn't a place for "Health food"

There are plenty of healthier choices on the menu there, including lots

of different veggies and chicken choices, and I don't mean greasy

Maybe , but I dont' see very many people going in there to eat 'healthy'

BTW, the only times I eat in there is if my wife drags me into the place which isn't very often.

I can cook their menu at home.

That you and some of your buddies here don't believe you can get a
healthy meal at Cracker Barrel doesn't mean you can't get a healthy meal
at Cracker Barrel. Besides, I have seen most of you post recipes here
that are beyond unhealthy and for dishes I wouldn't feed to a barnyard pig.

We eat at Cracker Barrel when we are traveling the interstates far from
home and want a decent meal without having to stray far from the off
ramps.

Honestly, If I'm wanting to eat healthy, CB wouldn't be on my list unless it was nothing more than salad ad a water.

including lots

of different veggies and chicken choices, and I don't mean greasy

chicken or chicken fried steak. They have nice pork chops and broiled

Ah! Chicken and pork chops. Is your conscience satisfied that somebody else assassinated them for you?

fish some days, for example.

Sometimes? Oh well I guess that's ok. fish ain't got a soul anyhow..

I went into a CB once... It was terrible. Like I said, we just mock it
as we go by, just like sonic.

Last night we had our favorite "hybrid" meal.. Half out, half in... We
got a huge slow roasted garlic chicken from Walmart and I steamed some
fresh potato and beans to go with it..... The chicken was awesome, I
could never cook one that good with what I have to work with here...

Rotisserie on a charcoal Weber. Works like a champ.

If that "garlic chicken" was from Wal-Mart, it probably wasn't chicken
but, rather, a pigeon or seagull that made the fatal error of landing on
a Wal-Mart parking lot and was netted by a Wal-Mart employee working
part-time without benefits. Welcome to the 'Merika the super rich want
for you.
