The little girl is living in a shelter, Tim. How happy do you really think she is not to have a home? Harry, you acted like she was living in a cardboard box in an ally. Conservative Christians just slay me. GOOD! We keep you on your toes and give you something to talk about that way. Earlier today I saw a bit about a fundie preacher in Texas, I think, who used church funds to build a $10 million house. Tithes? Yeah, and look at how much Madelyn Murray was holding when she was murdered. I think it was about what... 3 mil? |

Yes, I suppose to right-wing christians who only pretend to follow the teachings of jesus, a crowded shelter is more than adequate for children. I do enjoy reading a small number of posts in which self-described followers of jesus pretend to be following those teachings but in reality pay no real attention to them. I am especially enjoying the havoc the new pope is creating among the overly righteous. -- Religion: together we can find the cure. |

It's a shame that liberals will treat prisoners with such good will at the expense of shelters. I didn't know that preachers demanded tithes either. Some people do tithe but there's nothing in the New Testament about it being a requirement. |
