Where do you hang your hat, Captain? We used to live just a couple of
miles north of the new bridge in St. A. I sure miss fishing those waters
every couple of days.

Do you ever fish the "pond" behind the airport? It's an interesting
place to find redfish and on occasion, tarpon.

Default OFF TOPIC Back Surgery question.

Actually Harry I live on Julington Creek, on the Jacksonville side,
about 4 miles from Bayard. From my house it is 20.1 miles to the Auggie
Airport down US1. I have fished Matanzas and offshore from Fernandina to
Daytona on a semi-regular basis.

The only trip the "la Dolce Vita" and I have taken was July 4th to the
Landing to watch fireworks. My back pain is so bad, I have a hell of a
time just climbing in her. Forget doing any sort of heavy maintenance.

I have never heard of Tarpon in the pond, but a 55 pound red was pulled
out in August. Broke some sort of record, but I forget exactly what.

I have several friends out in the airport area. Exactly where did you
used to live? Perhaps we have mutual acquaintances.

Regards,

Capt. Frank Hopkins
