multiculturalism.”

Lots of racists who think they are "lily white" have African genes and
African origins. Many scientists believe human life originated in Africa
and the species spread out from there. Some years ago, I submitted a
swab sample to a National Geo "origins" project that was ongoing and
discovered an African link going back many, many thousands of years. So
did my wife, who has genealogy as a hobby and had already traced her
family members back to the 16th Century in Ireland, Scotland, England
and Germany, and to the 19th Century to the Cherokees in North Carolina
and Georgia.

For well-balanced people, it's just another indicator of the commonality
of humanity and proof that every man and woman is your brother and
sister somewhere along the trail of history. For racists, it's just
another link in the chain of denial.

Actually, I believe I do have some 'black' blood in my body. Doesn't bother me a bit. No Latino that
I know of. Why disparage Latino DNA? There's absolutely nothing wrong with Latinos.

I sure wish my doctor would tell me I was underweight! A bunch of fried catfish, french fries and
hush puppies would make me a happy camper, especially followed by a double serving of peach cobbler
with butter-pecan ice cream!
