What is pointing out where people are being made dependent upon the almight government for
their daily needs stupid?

It's stupid because the above rant by him has NO basis of fact.

You might want to rephrase that to...no basis in fact.

Are you raising your children to become self supporting adults or are you teaching them how
to get stuff from the government?

My children are raised to be self-supporting, but human enough to want
to help those in need.

What is the best way to help those in need? Give them stuff or teach them how to get the
stuff themselves?

You have to be able to take care of yourself, before you can take care of
someone else.
