Speaking of Dr. Zhivago ...

The movie came out when I was living in Connecticut. I was "exploring"

at the time, dating different girls every week or so. All they wanted

to do was see "Dr. Zhivago". I must have seen it 5 times in 3 months.

Catchy tune from that movie...

Got stuck in New York overnight with wife and kids (on way to Disneyworld) way back in the early 90's. A guy in tux and violin played this at our dinner table.

You *had* to do it, huh? I didn't even open the youtube link and I
knew it was "Laura's Theme". Now it's stuck in my head for the rest of
the day.

Thanks a lot ! :-)

Got a kick out of the scene where the Dr and his family Arrived in the frozen Sumner home.
In a similar situation,
My buddies and I went out to a camp after midnight fueled on cheap bootlegger wine.
There were two double beds to hold six of us and the frost was about an inch thick on the bedspread.
I worked until 5 to unthaw the small oil stove.
Didn't sleep much that night due to a lot of gunplay inside the cabin initiated by me.
No campers were hurt in the mayhem...the cabin wasn't so airtight after that.

What does 'unthaw' mean?

I've heard the word 'dethaw' and wondered about it also.

John H. -- Hope you're having a great day!

Don't know what it means in Canukistan, but here in America the
beautiful it means refreeze.

That would be my guess. Like in, "Let's go ice fishing, the lake is unthawed!"
