An "Internet Hero" ? Sure. My lifelong ambition.

I am here because I've participated in this newsgroup for over 15 years
dating back when it was a genuine, functional and useful group.
I have to admit, it's more habit now and maybe it's time to call it
quits. The tone and nature of the place tends to bring out the worst
in everyone, including me. It's not a natural state of mind,
especially for 50-70 year olds who get involved in discussing who's
going to "beat the ****" out of who.

Really stupid to participate anymore when I think about it.





PsychoSnotty's oft-stated desire to get into fistfights with the posters
here he doesn't like is worth a chuckle from time to time, especially
considering that he has a heart condition and is a cancer survivor. I
think he is hopeful of a fight so that when he is knocked out cold and
maybe dies, his family will be able to sue and get some $$$.

PsychoSnotty's rantings remind me of that scene in Raiders of the Lost
Ark in which our hero, Indiana Jones, is facing down a crazed guy with a
sword. Indy watches the guy swirl his sword a few times and as he is
about to be attacked, he pulls out his pistol and shoots the swordfighter.

PsychoSnotty is the swordfighter.
