If this is your boat, says tow weight is 2542. Add any personnel
stuff and
weight goes up.

You just aren't going to let it go, are you? He's legal, you can do what
you want with your boat, let him do what he wants with his.

I just want people to be able to stop their trailers when traffic
stops! I
would hate to be hit by some idiot without enough brakes on the
trailer or
tow vehicle. I see these tow ratings of 5000# or so one a lightweight,
underpowered tow vehicle. My S10 Blazer had that 5000# rating. It
barely
stopped itself!

Donnie has convinced himself that his car will stop an extra 2000 lb or
so without the benefit of trailer brakes. I sure hope he's right for
his wife's sake and the sake of those he shares the highway with. I
personally don't care if his boat decides to come through hie rear
window. Some folks are bent on getting their education from the school
of hard knocks.

Yeah, but if some idiot like that hits you and hurts your family what
are you going to do? I say driving heavy is as bad as driving drunk or
texting, you are taking others lives into your hands for your own
selfish reasons..

If it is only 2000#, no problem. I tow with a 3/4 ton truck, and it has
little problem stopping even with no trailer brakes on a 4500# trailer.
Lost fluid due to a connector leak. Took longer than normal, but the truck
has huge brake assemblies.

You are probably a disaster for anyone you hit with a vehicle. Minimum
insurance if any at all. Will not even cover most new car replacement for
someone, or the medical costs. Minimum liability in California is only
$35K. My truck in 2004 was $48K and the wife's Venza was $36K. You do not
have enough extra assets to probably even sue for. My complaint on the
Tort system is the disparity in the amount someone can collect for the same
damage. I run into and cripple someone, they can get about $2.5 million
from my insurance alone. $2 million umbrella policy. You do the same
damage to someone, they get $35k insurance, and what little assets you
have.

Don't fall into harrys trap... We have two vehicles (2006 and 2010).
Both are covered for the maximum, including full collision with 500
deductible and even full glass, and we own them both outright, we don't
have enough extra to play games with our vehicles....... I would be
perfectly willing to put 10 grand on that, I would accept John, Tim, or
Greg to hold the money and make the call on the paperwork.. if you are
interested in not being just like the rest here... I will send two years
history of our coverage, and copies of our vehicle titles.... Notarized,
Bill... Unless you are just being a um, a "dick"...as it were.... or a
krause, whatever...

Oh, btw, as to harrys lies about my insurance in general. I went for a
bit over a year without health insurance after a transition. I ended up
in the hospital during that period, and have been paying the bill ever
since.... By the end of next year it should be gone. Soon after that we
resubmitted and got back on our family plan soooooo, please Bill, don't
be like the rest here, don't be a dick.... just because harry krause
lied to you.... really...

I will admit, I don't have 20 in the bank or I would add that too.. but
after I take your ten, if you want to put up another ten and see my
health insurance policy, notorized... let me know... otherwise, like I
said, you sink to the level of harry and his enablers.... Later Bill,
used to have a bit more respect for you, though you were confident
enough not to play those guys games.....

What about driving while thinking? Driving while stupid? One of the
worst in my opinion is in the winter, snow and ice on the roads, people
with FWD think that because they can go, that they can stop. They can't.

You are probably a disaster for anyone you hit with a vehicle. Minimum

I'll take the bet that you don't have health insurance. Okay? And I find
it hilarious that because someone disagrees with you anymore, you
instantly claim you loose respect for them. But, anyone who'd agree with
your insane, off the wall, paranoia fueled rants WOULD be crazy.

Not really. It would depend on the models of the two BMWs. They can
run from about $35K to well over $100K.

perfectly willing to put 10 grand on that, I would accept John, Tim, or
Greg to hold the money and make the call on the paperwork.. if you are

history of our coverage, and copies of our vehicle titles.... Notarized,
Bill... Unless you are just being a um, a "dick"...as it were.... or a krause, whatever...

I do not give a **** how much collision you have on your vehicles! I want
to know how much liability someone carries! I do not give a crap if you
wreck your car and can or can not replace it. That covers your lost value.
Not mine! Someone with a financed car and no liability insurance, will
have the remaining value of the vehicle insured. The loan company will add
an expensive policy to the loan if you do not show insurance. Does nada
for any liability. I think the law should only allow you to collect from
the other party up to the amount of liability insurance you carry.

If this is your boat, says tow weight is 2542. Add any personnel
stuff and
weight goes up.

You just aren't going to let it go, are you? He's legal, you can do
what
you want with your boat, let him do what he wants with his.

I just want people to be able to stop their trailers when traffic
stops! I
would hate to be hit by some idiot without enough brakes on the
trailer or
tow vehicle. I see these tow ratings of 5000# or so one a
lightweight,
underpowered tow vehicle. My S10 Blazer had that 5000# rating. It
barely
stopped itself!

Donnie has convinced himself that his car will stop an extra 2000
lb or
so without the benefit of trailer brakes. I sure hope he's right for
his wife's sake and the sake of those he shares the highway with. I
personally don't care if his boat decides to come through hie rear
window. Some folks are bent on getting their education from the
school
of hard knocks.

Yeah, but if some idiot like that hits you and hurts your family what
are you going to do? I say driving heavy is as bad as driving drunk or
texting, you are taking others lives into your hands for your own
selfish reasons..

I guess I would become his educator.

I have a history of going a bit further when I feel someone has tried to
kill me or hurt my family... Just sayin'. If I ever do fight again it
will be someone that screwed with my kids bike or someone who tries to
kill me on the highway.

You are probably a disaster for anyone you hit with a vehicle. Minimum
insurance if any at all.

Soon after that we
resubmitted and got back on our family plan soooooo, please Bill, don't
be like the rest here, don't be a dick.... just because harry krause lied
to you.... really...

I will admit, I don't have 20 in the bank or I would add that too.. but
after I take your ten, if you want to put up another ten and see my
health insurance policy, notorized... let me know... otherwise, like I
said, you sink to the level of harry and his enablers.... Later Bill,
used to have a bit more respect for you, though you were confident enough
not to play those guys games.....

As I said, I do not care how much you insure your cars for. Matters a rats
ass to me. When someone crashes in to me, I want their insurance to cover
my damage, not theirs. Years ago, my wife was in three accidents where the
car she was riding in was hit by uninsured motorists. One a Middle Eastern
student at Cal Berkeley. Where you going to sue them?

That much I agree with......n

could pick up a cheap Corolla or Civic, in the $1200 range, I'd consider it. Wouldn't worry about
depreciation and just carry liability. It would have to be in good enough shape to last another ten
years.

I always tell the wife.. If we win lotto, I want a 36-42 coupe... I like
the ones they put a new engine and brakes, etc... but leave the car
looking pretty much stock on the outside.... Just for my every day
driver... Original "looking" paint with some age would be perfect...

Yep, that's our Jawbone Scotty!! Don't look for a real job, just wait on
the lottery.

No, not at all... Just don't have 40 grand laying around for the "toy" I
dream about.. Can you afford all of the toys you would like to have?

I have kept my health up, I stay employed, I provide for my family very
nicely, and I have quite a bunch of toys. So, I'd say that I'm quite
fulfilled. You can say none of the above about yourself.
