The right to health care...

"First: Every citizen has the right to health care. The State shall
maintain public health and provide the means of prevention and treatment
by building different types of hospitals and health institutions.

Second: Individuals and entities have the right to build hospitals,
clinics,or private health care centers under the supervision of the
State, and this shall be regulated by law."

There are other health care guarantees, including special provisions for
children, the elderly, and the handicapped.

The Republicans in the U.S. Congress supported that language...which is
contained in the Constitution of Iraq and voted for the funds to help
provide it.

In 2005, the Bush Admin drafted a new constitution for Iraq, and Article
31 of that constitution, supported by Republicans in the U.S. Congress
and ratified by the Iraqi people, includes state-guaranteed healthcare
for life for every Iraqi citizen.

I know, I know...you were absent from school that decade.

There are lots of things in the constitution of Iraq that never

actually happened

http://www.irinnews.org/report/97964...-on-healthcare

"Nearly all families - 96.4 percent - have no health insurance whatsoever and 40 percent of the population deems the quality of healthcare services in their area to be bad or very bad, according to the Iraq Knowledge Network (IKN) survey of 2011.

As a result of the poor quality of care in their country, many Iraqis now seek healthcare abroad, increasingly selling homes, cars and other possessions to afford to do so, according to Skelton, who interviewed Iraqis seeking healthcare in Lebanon. "

That it wasn't implemented has nothing to do with the *fact* that the
Republicans in our Congress voted for universal health care insurance
for Iraqis, but think it is anathema for Americans.

I think it is funny that Harry brings up Iraq. They can't even keep
the lights on and civil liberties are non-existant yet he thinks
having a throw away line in a meaningless document proves something.

It proves that the people of Iraq and the people of America would be much better off if Harry moved
to Baghdad. This isn't a fire boat welcome, but it's pretty close. 'Twould be fitting for Harry's
arrival.

The only thing Harry has proved is that he's a flaming asshole. And
that's his finest attribute. He's no better than a welfare queen,
leaching on society. I'm pretty sure he's first generation so he cant
blame it on familiar history.
