The right to health care...
"First: Every citizen has the right to health care. The State shall
maintain public health and provide the means of prevention and treatment by building different types of hospitals and health institutions. Second: Individuals and entities have the right to build hospitals, clinics,or private health care centers under the supervision of the State, and this shall be regulated by law." There are other health care guarantees, including special provisions for children, the elderly, and the handicapped. The Republicans in the U.S. Congress supported that language...which is contained in the Constitution of Iraq and voted for the funds to help provide it. |

The little ones running around in his head.... In 2005, the Bush Admin drafted a new constitution for Iraq, and Article 31 of that constitution, supported by Republicans in the U.S. Congress and ratified by the Iraqi people, includes state-guaranteed healthcare for life for every Iraqi citizen. I know, I know...you were absent from school that decade. |

I'm pretty sure he's first generation so he cant blame it on familiar history. Iraq is one of the few places on earth that's had more homicides this year than Chicago. -- John H.
