If a person was to drive up the overland route rather than the ferry, (or on the return) this might be an interesting place to stop at.
A couple of years ago I posted info on the "Not Since Moses" race started by a wacky Californian who owned one of the islands.
You can run all the way to his island and back on the ocean floor when the tide is out.
