Today is the 50th Anniversary of Birmingham Sunday, the day on which a
group of racist pigs blew up the the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, and killed four little girls. Richard Fariña wrote a song about the act of terrorism and Joan Baez sang it. The song is on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQ0y-vO9QLE |
