Hussein was thumbing his nose at the world and the UN resolutions that he agreed to and accepted after he got his ass kicked in the Gulf War. Chasing bin Laden all over Afghanistan and Pakistan wouldn't send as strong a message, although the Taliban were taken care of in short order. I think the picture is far more complex than you and your like try to make it out to be. Bush/Cheney did the right thing. It's hard for to accept by many and it's used as the excuse for every wrong in the world, but historians will write the whole story someday and Bush will eventually be vindicated. Remember, I am psychic. :-) Don't press your your luck. |
