Considering a Small Sail boat

Just for kicks, this is the small 15 foot pirate vessel I saw.

certainly larger than 15'....

Lots of daysailors out there. If possible, try before you buy. I think there is
a boatshow in Atlantic City that is dedicated to sailing vessels. Of course
there are lots of bargins in the used market. The Hunter daysailors are very
high priced but nice boats.

Good idea. :) We're going to take sailing classes in April, so we can get an
idea of what we're into, and also rent a boat after.

We've got out eye on a few vessels now. :) I just have to do more saving in
the mean time. Hopefully after the enactment season in September I can look
forward to buying the boat. Maybe sooner!

My wife and I were planning on taking out a Catalina 30 today for some whale
watching. But instead we're going to take out a dinghy. We love sailing
the 15 foot Vanguard V-15, it's addicting! We're going to meet up with some
other friends in V-15s and Lasers out in the bay today. The Tuesday night
dinghy regattas start in a couple of months too.

Hello,
My husband and I live where there are a lot of water ways, rivers and
lakes that are open to sail boats. Does anyone have any good advice on

what
is a good sized boat for a two person crew from your experiance? I used to
live on the Pacific and we took out a 15 foot boat, which was wonderful

for
two, but my husband who's never sailed and me who is limited want

something
we can enjoy with little difficulty.

I'm going to take sailing classes for my birthday locally which should
give me a lot more knowlege of the craft, how to take care of it. The

whole
thing. :)

Thanks!
Rose
