There are at least three city police stations within a few blocks of that area, and a Yale police substation nearby, and I'm sure the entire area is well-patrolled. But that doesn't mean every part of every area of the city has a police officer on the spot every minute of the day. What most cities need in their densely populated or commercial areas are more police officers *in uniform* and on foot. |
