I don't believe in letting criminals rule the streets. There are at least three city police stations within a few blocks of that area, and a Yale police substation nearby, and I'm sure the entire area is well-patrolled. But that doesn't mean every part of every area of the city has a police officer on the spot every minute of the day. What most cities need in their densely populated or commercial areas are more police officers *in uniform* and on foot. |

DC has more cops per square foot than any other place in the world and they can't hold all of the neighborhoods. 1. Bull****. 2. DC cops for the most part do not patrol neighborhoods on foot. Most of them are deployed to commercial districts and governmental areas. So, again, bull****. Aren't you in the Naples area? Crime in Naples versus crime in Huntingown: Nope, not even the right county http://tinyurl.com/jwypty5 http://tinyurl.com/l8zzymo Why don't you compare Estero (where I live) to Huntington, it is a better comparison although Estero is 10 times bigger in population. Huntington is just a shopping center on Rt 4 with 2300 people living nearby. BTW that real estate site you linked for Naples does not even know where the boundaries of Estero are but it did give us a crime rating of 13 (compared to 29 nationally). I was not willing to register to get the details. I do know that a "crime wave" here is a couple kids taking things out of unlocked cars and that is still pretty rare. I still leave my car unlocked and the key is always in the ignition of my boat. Sorry, but "estero" sounds like ladyparts to me. As in, the rash spread from my vagina to my estero. ![]() |

He sounds like a 13 year old who is disrespectful of women. |
