Not to mention if you run out, and go looking for a quick score, "pot" can make you crazy, can even make you look into cars and punch someone when they ask you why... OH, so NOW Martin was looking to score some pot and went crazy and attacked Zimmerman??? Damn, you ARE insane. ---------------------------------- There's no medical evidence that the *trace* amount of THC found in Martin's blood tests would have contributed to any kind of altered behavior, one way or the other. It will go towards Martin's character in the civil trail, if the civil trial happens. If it is information that is already part of a legal record the argument to bring it into the civil trial is much easier. But (just let me guess) you don't think Zimmerman's past troubles have anything to do with HIS character..... |

The smell of marijuana makes me want to puke, just as it did about 50 years ago when I took a puff on a joint and...puked. Blech. ----------------------- Ahhh .... but did you *inhale* ? I'm not sure I got that far before the urge to puke took over. :) Sounds like that is all mental and has nothing to do with the drug. Actually cancer patients use it to ease nausea so they can eat. Yes, subjective but yes I heard the same thing. I was suggesting that "crazy" with any "drug" can go way beyond the immediate effects of the drug, and into the lifestyle of someone who needs "drugs" guns, gold teeth, and in particular, the money to live that lifestyle... However, I was not saying I had any new facts about Treyvon Martin, I was commenting on the statement by somebody that there is no credible evidence that folks get "crazy" on pot.. that it does go a bit deeper thatn just the two hour high... Sorry I was not more specific, let me be clear here I am not saying Treyvon was "crazy" based on the pot in his system, although I was suggesting that with the **** that's out now, and if you expand the term "effects", someone *could* get "crazy" on pot.... ugh........ ------------------------------- Take a deep breath. You can get the thought out. He got it out. You need to figure out how to put it together. ;-) Yes, it's the way I speak in person too... It has roots in several events including re-learning to speak and swallow after major reconstructive mouth and jaw surgery at about age 12. Unfortunately, every once in a while I used to run into intolerant folks who use it as a weapon against me... I do have to admit though, the last time I remember that was in High School... until now... Folks who care to hear what I say, take the time to figure it out, the rest, well, **** 'em. I get it. Your jaw bone is connected to your brain bone. |

Is there any possibility at all that Treyvon is product of his culture and as a young black male feels that society is stacked against him, causing him to to be angry and lash out at any wrong, real or not? These feelings may have a real basis but that is not a good reason not to defend yourself. I like the show Bait Car, where the police setup a car for stealing. They often have a girl driving and friend stops her with a big commotion, the car is then left parked with the keys. When one young black man was caught taking the Cadillac Escalade, he was ask why did you take it, he said " just to punish them". Meaning those rich white girls needed punishing, I wonder how wide spread this is. The show always amazes me that within minutes of parking their bait car, someone is there to steal it. What a mentality, the crooks have no moral sense. Mikek |
