through North Carolina isn't bad. We gas up and hit the pit stops before

we get into South Carolina so, hopefully, we don't have to spend a

dollar in that state. It also seems that I-95 in South Carolina is not

well-maintained.

Funny (strange) that you claim that lefties are the ones that have a heart and want to help their fellow man, but when you purposefully don't spend your tourist dollars on that I-95 corridor, you're hurting exactly the ones that need help the most.

For you, politics trumps compassion.

While traveling the I-95 corridor, we gas up and stop for meals and
sometimes lodging just about everywhere *except* South Carolina. I
wouldn't spend a dime in Texas, either.

As I said, for you, politics trumps compassion. You want to think you're hurting those state governments. You don't give a damn about the people and communities struggling to make it, depending on the very businesses you don't patronize.

It defines you. A smug, arrogant, and shortsighted liberal.

Aren't you good old boys seceding, or at least talking about it? Well,
hell, get on with it.

Don't try to change the subject. Why aren't you supporting the good folk along the I-95 SC corridor, the liberal voting base? Oh yeah, because you hate the minority, female governor that the voters put in place. Don't want to live here, and pay your taxes (~snerk) into a conservative state? I'm all for that. Fail to support your liberal voting base? Shame on you.

Put your (non-tax) paying money where your mouth is.

Odd, I've never seen anyone (business) in a 'busy' tourist trap that was hurting for lack of tourist dollars...

I see no reason to support backwards, racist, anti-government.
anti-woman, anti voters' rights states like South Carolina or Texas with
tourism business.

The area of SC that I-95 passes through is an economically depressed area. It's pretty much an interstate highway with nothing around it. To intentionally pass through it without spending any money is withholding dollars from people that need it, and rely on it for their livelihood. To do that because of some misplaced political alignment is heartless.

So you hate Nikki Haley, the minority woman Governor of SC? Ah, got it.

Oh, and you have no problem supporting union slobs that help pay your salary (although you pay no taxes, eh?), but you won't help support the exact people you pretend to want to help? Typical liberal.
