That's what he was originally inquiring about. It seems like overkill to
me. John had a good solution using wheel chocks to crab it along up a
slight incline. I still don't understand why he won't use his car to
back the boat in.

the blade and have sombody bolt or weld a ball on the thing... Just find
one for a couple hundred bucks that is self propelled and look up
anybody locally with a set of end wrenches and a welder, another 35
dollars and maybe even a case of beer and you are golden...

You are supposed to take the wheel off. It's probably held on with a
hitch pin or single bolt. Sheeeesh.

Here's a plan for a motorized trailer dolly that runs about $200. I've
seen used commercial dollies from time to time for $300-$400, usually at
boatyards and marinas.

I was just thinking that.
In the marinas and yacht clubs, they seem to use some kind of tractor.
In one case I saw a ball attached to one of a forklifts forks.
