Default Solution for pulling boat in driveway?

Actually, the only real tricky time is first time out in the spring, as I winter the boat up on blocks way back in front of my shed. It narrows up down there thanks to a fence and a stairway to my rear deck....giving a 'thread the needle' effect.
Sure wouldn't want to scratch the Highlander.

No need to be intimidated by a fence or a stairway. Move em, dummy.

Gee, John just whined about Don's alleged name calling, I wonder if
he'll admonish you as well? I'd bet not.

That's why you use a ground guide for backing.

Are you serious? This would be good for pulling the boat up your driveway, but can't you use the
Highlander for that?

That old heavy duty winch was in jest, but if there was a suitable, reasonable alternative I'd be interested.
The $400 model I first considered might be the most practical, assuming the made in China dolly is reliable.

Wait until he asks for ideas on how to arm himself for self-defense on the boat. Personally, I'd
recommend the Sig Sauer P250 sub-compact in 9mm.

Don't need a gun up here...the local boaters are all friendly and helpful if you need it.
