Solution for pulling boat in driveway?
There we go...I knew the real Ingersoll wasn't hiding very far away.
I should get my own tv show selling my accurate predictions. |

Well, I guess I should feel honored to be in the company of Dickson as one of the only two people you've Plonked.

Thanks..I'll check that out.
I'd rather an AC type electric motor as they seem to last forever with minimum use or maintenance. I have two 50 foot 12 gauge cords that will reach anywhere I need. The thing is...if I bought one of those machines, I'd use it everytime I take the boat out. |

Hey the on topic plan lasted almost 4 days. It is a start. To Donnie, have you looked at these? http://www.powercaster.com/ You might be able to make one with a bit of ingenuity and the right kind of motor. I think that if I was just using it next to the house I would use an extension cord and an AC gear head motor. I didn't realize there was a formal on topic plan. I thought the plan was to cut back on the snarliness and insults of other posters. ------------------------------------------------ That's what I am hoping for. I don't mind some off-topic discussions but I am tired of weeding through post after post after post of "I know you are, but what am I?" crap. I'll just send those that insist on engaging in that to the growing Bozo Bin. |

I would do what you said, or like Tim said, hook a winch to the trailer, and run it off the boat battery. |
