Bankster facilitator? That *is* pretty funny stuff. Did my former

That would have been very mean spirited of them. Didn't they realize
how *special* you were?

There's an old saying in banking:

"Any fool can lend money. The trick is to get it back."

You facilitated Citicorp, which did and does plenty of dirty deals. You
were in IT, right? IT makes possible the shady stuff banks do.

I've been retired for quite a while now. All of the people I knew and
worked with were scrupulously honest. Anything else would have gotten
them fired in a heart beat.

Sorry, W'hine. Never was a client of First National City Bank or its
successors. Did make some money from them, though, about 1970, when the
company bought out a Detroit client of mine for cash. Shares of client
were selling for about $5 a share OTC, City paid $29 a share. Pretty
good deal.

If you always seems to do so well, you should have avoided bankruptcy
and tax liens.

----------------------------------------------

Harry, are there *any* large, for profit companies that you approve of?

The organizations I admire tend to be those that help people in need,
without regard to anything but need, or that promote the commonweal, or
that advance knowledge and understanding and peace. As an example, I
admire Meals on Wheels and Planned Parenthood as organizations that help
people in need. I don't admire Bank of America or Exxon.

So do all union members work for companies you approve of?

Well, without large for profit companies, there sure would be many
millions more "in need" and Meals on Wheels can't hire all the
unemployed.

Besides that most of those non-profits are subsidized by those evil
corporations donations.

Tax cheats and debt welchers aren't doing anything to help anyone whom
Harry "admires". Notice he said admire and not support.

We still don't know what Harry's final disposition was with Ullico. Did he quit? Did he get
terminated. Was he a casualty of the financial shenanigans Ullico encountered during his
tenure?

More likely one of the planners... remember, harry made his living lying
to people to cover for dirty union activity...
