Just post a link to his remark. It must be archived on Google

Groups.
That's better than an unsubstantiated quote.

That would be easy, anybody save a link to his original comment?

It's bad enough to have these idiotic exchanges in the rec.boats
newsgroup and now you want to spread the child's play on someone's
business Facebook page?

I suspect the administrator of that page would quickly delete any links
to a Google newsgroup thread and probably ban the person who posted it
before it became infested with this BS. I know I would. In fact, I
did for exactly that reason.

There are some here, Scotty and "Earl" and Herring among them, who have
nothing to offer *but* that sort of child's play. Poor Earl changes his
email addy slightly very frequently in order to get through my filters
so I can see his vomitus, but that doesn't work for him. He's a
permanent member of The Bozo Bin. Herring worked his way into the bin
last week. The posters in rec.boats have diminished themselves down to a
precious few for me.

Didn't know you have or had a FB page. Your buddy, FlaJim, has one
purpose here, and that is to try to stir up people. He does a great job
igniting Scotty, but he's a bozo binner here on my desktop computer.

----------------------------------------

I can't speak for Jim but I suspect that he, (like you and others)
has recognized the deterioration of the newsgroup over the years and
posts here for entertainment value only. Some of his retorts are
humorous.

You have indicated that you are still here for a somewhat similar
reason .... to see rec.boats finally dissolve into a pile of dust and
blow away. You stir up as much or more of the dust that he does.

If you remember back many years ago, Jim often made very informative
and useful posts in response to problems people had with boats or boat
engines. He had particular expertise in outdrives and was always spot
on with helpful suggestions in troubleshooting or identifying a
solution to a problem. But, the number of real boating related posts
has diminished to maybe one or two a week now-a-days, so there's
really nothing to contribute anymore.

I know Jim. I also know his newsgroup persona is not the real Jim.
That's all I'll say about that.

I don't recall any informative or useful posts in boat problems that
your FlaJim posted. He's been in my bozo bin for a while, so I only see
an occasional comment of his when one of his snarky remarks is reposted
by someone else. As far as I can tell from that, what he likes to do
most is rev up PsychoScotty and take junior high style potshots at those
who don't share his racist, right-wing political views.

Is the "real Jim" even more of an asshole? (Rhetorical question...no
response needed... )
