April 14 (Reuters) - A Texas man used a gun to commit suicide in
the
infield of a National Rifle Association-sponsored NASCAR race at
the
Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth late on Saturday, local
authorities
said.

Kirk Franklin, 42, of nearby Saginaw died after shooting himself at
10:30 p.m. on Saturday during the NRA 500 Sprint Cup race,
according
to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.

Franklin was involved in a verbal altercation with other race
spectators before the incident, said Daniel Segura, a Fort Worth
Police Department spokesman.

Franklin's body was found in the back seat of a truck, according
to an
online police report. (Reporting by Brendan O'Brien in Milwaukee;
Editing by Edith Honan and Eric Walsh)

Hey, you finally got yourself a martyr. Well, now...

There's no shortage of suicides by gun in this country. What it
actually
is is a juxtaposition.

What it demonstrates is just how sick you and jps must be to be so
thrilled that someone shot
himself.

Remember John, these two are all in for themselves and could care less
about anybody else... They "both" have their guns when they want them
but like most libs, don't want to share that security with anybody
else....

Day 3.

Any hour now, PsychoScotty will start targeting wives who don't post
here, children who don't post here, fathers who don't post here, and
anyone else he can conjure up in his rotifer-sized brain.

Every hour here harry will call names... every minute kevin noble will
hide under his desk, so insecure with his own actions...

The people who are "hiding under their desks," little man, are the ones
who post anonymously. That includes a number of your yellow-streaked
right-wing friends.

What's more anonymous than FOAD? ESAD?

Do you realize how stupid you sound? Not saying your are, but....

It is humorous watching FOAD slobber all over jps' anti-gun posts in one thread, and tout his
firearm collection, knowledge, and abilities in other threads.

I think he was exercising his right to kill himself neatly (but not
cleanly) and was celebrating it at the marriage of his two favorite
earthly associations, Nascar and the NRA.

Power to the brotherhood of armaments and ammo and big block motors.

Looks to me like either it's a coincidence, or he purposely picked the
special place at the special event to cap himself, * to fit some kind
of an agenda.

Well, whatever the motivation, it's too bad there wasn't someone in his
life who could intervene, although, even if there was, it might not have
helped.

True, I do hate to hear of suicides, There's no call for it, but if a
person is determined to do it it will be done.

Sad.

And, we might as well make it easy for them, right?

Exactly.
