Anyone know anything about it? Gander Mountain has it for about $575, including shipping.
Salmonbait -- Hope you're having a spectacular day! |

Too wide, needed a trigger job out of the box. Comes in several models with interchangeable pieces and parts, but it sure isn't a gun for all seasons or reasons. Not nearly up to the quality of SIG's more traditional offerings. Perhaps if you posted info about what you intend to use the firearm for, you might get some helpful advice. |

Oh, and by the way...the other day when I responded with an LOL to your post about not reading crime reports, I was laughing at the comment after that. You informed me about all the gang activities in my neck of the woods. I was laughing at your 'in depth' knowledge of gang activity in the Springfield area - when you aren't interested in crime reports. :) Salmonbait -- 'Name-calling'...the liberals' last resort. |

I'm not interested in crime reports per se, but I have been following the activities of MS-13 and other Central/South American gangs as a sociological cultural issue of interest. You wouldn't understand that, but you might recall several times here I have mentioned my interest since my undergrad days in what we called "nuts&sluts," but more correctly, "Deviant Sociology." These gangs are active just a couple of miles from where you live. Oh...the "gun advice" was just my recollection of the firearm in question. If you think it is suited for your unstated needs, go for it. I got to handle and shoot a P250 and other SIG firearms in connection with attendance at a two day IDPA course I took from SIG. I think it might have been just before SIG started marketing the pistol, or right afterwards. Something like that. |

Gander Mountain has some Sigs, but not the 238. Keep checking them though. They change their inventory pretty rapidly. They don't list Glock in their list of Brands, so I assume they have none in stock, although it could be they don't carry the brand. http://search.gandermountain.com/?Ne...e=New-Firearms Salmonbait -- 'Name-calling'...the liberals' last resort. |

Yeah, as if your experience in the army with your lack of intellect and poor reasoning abilities add up to anything significant. You or someone in your family are likely to have a gun accident. ESAD, have I been putting you down and calling you names? Do you suppose one of my grandsons is likely to have a gun accident because of my 'lack of intellect and poor reasoning abilities'? Too wide, needed a trigger job out of the box. Comes in several models with interchangeable pieces and parts, but it sure isn't a gun for all seasons or reasons. Not nearly up to the quality of SIG's more traditional offerings. Perhaps if you posted info about what you intend to use the firearm for, you might get some helpful advice. What would you call the advice you just provided? Oh, now I understand. You follow the crime reports that pertain only to the gangs in which you're interested. You should give this site a try: http://homicidewatch.org/suspects/ See how many suspects you know. Well, based on your advice, I ordered the gun last night. Should arrive in four or five days. Salmonbait -- 'Name-calling'...the liberals' last resort. Thus proving the wisdom of the adage, "A fool and his money..." Thanks, now I feel better! Salmonbait -- 'Name-calling'...the liberals' last resort. No "safety" on the P250, if memory serves. If so, yet another gun accident waiting to happen. Didn't you just buy a pistol and get handed one as a gift? You aren't even "experienced" with the two you already have. ESAD, I spent almost 30 years in the Army. Trust me, I have more experience with all manner of weapons than you could dream about. It wasn't all *good* experience, but it still counts. You need to spend a lot more time shooting at stumps. Salmonbait -- 'Name-calling'...the liberals' last resort. The sorts of questions you ask about firearms, plus your unwillingness or inability to state why you prefer one particular pistol over another, and other factors do not leave me with the feeling you know very much about modern small arms. Not that I care. You asked here about the P250, and the same day you ordered one. It doesn't seem as if you've ever fired one, handled one, or possibly even seen one up close and personal. Before I ordered my CZ Custom, I went to a pistol competition and got to handle and fire several pistols similar to what I wanted. Then I did some web exploring, and finally I made three calls to the CZ Custom Shop before placing my order for delivery to a local FFL. Yeah, but, as you know, you're perfect. Salmonbait I want to get a Sig 238. My next purchase is going to be a G23. Gander Mountain has some Sigs, but not the 238. Keep checking them though. They change their inventory pretty rapidly. They don't list Glock in their list of Brands, so I assume they have none in stock, although it could be they don't carry the brand. http://search.gandermountain.com/?Ne...e=New-Firearms Salmonbait The closest Gander Mountain is out in Salisbury. I have a local gun store I deal with and the have a wide variety but, getting product is the problem. |

BTW, I'm doing my taxes now. If you need help with yours, just let me know. Salmonbait -- 'Name-calling'...the liberals' last resort. Mine were filed the first day electronic filing was available this year for last year's returns, and I already got my refund. Oh, and I do think you and yours are far more likely to have a gun accident than I am. So you happily collect a personal tax refund while your corporate taxes remain in arrears? What a sad soul you are, Krause. |
