Yup, the Muslim Brotherhood is after our hearts and souls. Let's
keep rooting for the rebels -
they'll bring DEOMOCRACY to the region.

Right.

One can depend on our boy Herring to support brutal, right-wing
dictators wherever and whenever they are found.

There's nothing brutal about Sharia Authority?

"But, increasingly, the dominant role is falling to Jabhat al-Nusra,
also known as the al-Nusra
Front. The group has been designated a terrorist organization by the
United States..."

Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks there may be a problem
there.

Syria is a problem state no matter who is in charge there. What's your
solution?

--------------------

Simple. Stay out of the conflict and let each side kill off the the
other side. Same thing we should have done in the Balkans and a lot of
other places.

So what you are really saying is "let Israel get pushed into the Ocean"?

------------------

They could push out the others. Happens.

So, it's like these retroactive taxes in Cali announced last week, it's
ok to change the rules after the fact and now we won't support Israels
right to exist? Really doesn't show a good sense of our history. I guess
we are just not the country we were 50 years ago...

------------------------

You realize that Israel was a creation of the European's? The US was
not one of those after WW2 that pushed for Israel's existence. Maybe
those "Palestinians" should go after the sheik's who sold the land to
the Europeans. Also when was there a Palestine Country? There were
both Arab's and Jew's living in the region.

According to the bible, Israel was given to the Jews in the Second
Millennium BCE. Many of the settlers who came to Israel in the late
1940s were Jews expelled from Arab lands in the area. Most of the Arab
sheiks, despite their riches, do little to support the Palestinians.
They don't want them, either, because they are viewed as a disruptive
influence.

-------------------------

I think Jordan was supposed to be the land for the displaced serfs of
the Arab Sheiks who sold out to the European's. They do not want the
locals either. they can see what happened in Lebanon when Arafat's
people took over.

There's no question the Jordanians didn't want the "displaced
Palestinians" on their land.

I think the so-called Palestinians were sold a bill of goods by their
"leadership" and by Jordan for decades. They left what became Israel
without having to because they were told to, they were told it would
only be a short time before the Jews were pushed into the Med and they
could return. they were told there was no need to even try to build up a
decent new homeland in the part of Jordan where they lived, and much
more. It's easy to manipulate people who choose to remain uneducated and
who are driven by demagogues.

*MY* racial allusions! Look at the elected mayors and city administrators. Those are the folks who
ensure the inner city folks remain uneducated and 'driven by demagogues - 'cause they're the f'ing
demagogues! Yeah, in some cases they're black demagogues - but in *all* cases, they're liberal f'ing
demagogues. They've been pushing their cause since well before the Tea Party was a gleam in
someone's eye.

What astounding bull**** you spew!

Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks there may be a problem
there.

'Name-calling'...the liberals' last resort.

Syria is a problem state no matter who is in charge there. What's your
solution?

--------------------

Simple. Stay out of the conflict and let each side kill off the the
other side. Same thing we should have done in the Balkans and a
lot of
other places.

So what you are really saying is "let Israel get pushed into the
Ocean"?

---------------------

but was not Jordan supposed to be the place for the "Palestinians"?

I think the so-called Palestinians were sold a bill of goods by their
"leadership" and by Jordan for decades. They left what became Israel
without having to because they were told to, they were told it would
only be a short time before the Jews were pushed into the Med and they
could return. they were told there was no need to even try to build up a
decent new homeland in the part of Jordan where they lived, and much
more. It's easy to manipulate people who choose to remain uneducated and
who are driven by demagogues.

Are you referring to those who occupy the inner city areas of Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC,
Buffalo, Cleveland, Newark, etc., etc. with that last sentence?

There you go again, ****head, with your racial allusions. If you want to
discuss this country, it is your fellow ****heads in the Tea Party who
are manipulated, uneducated, and driven by demagogues.

Nice name calling. Why is it okay for YOU to call names but not for
"liberals"?
