Default Whoops, wrong house.

Looks like this drunk teen tried to get in a house just two doors from
his own. His reward? Shot to death by "a helper, someone who spends
spare time volunteering to help others."

The kid wasn't armed, was drunk and a neighbor from two doors down.
This is what Merika has come to...

"A teenager who was shot and killed in Sterling, Virginia over the
weekend may have accidentally entered the wrong home after a night of
drinking.

Law enforcement officials told The Washington Post that the drunk teen
had been dropped off by friends at a house just two doors down from
where he lived. Both houses were two story, red brick homes and on the
same side of the street.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office refused to release the names of
anyone involved, and only described the shooting as an unknown
intruder being killed by a homeowner.

According to the Post, law enforcement sources believed that the teen
may have entered the home through a rear window and was not armed.

Real estate records indicated that the shooting occurred in the home
of Donald West Wilder II. Neighbor Joanna Roman described him as “a
great neighbor, a helper, someone who spends spare time volunteering
to help others.”

On Monday, the sheriff’s office confirmed to WUSA that the male teen
had been a student at Park View High School student. A school official
told WRC that grief counselors would be available to students on
Monday.

“This is freaking us out when we see a lot of cop cars and media are
here,” the school official said.

A 22-year-old Columbian immigrant was shot and killed earlier this
year when he arrived to pick up a friend at the wrong home because of
faulty GPS directions."

Breaking and entering in the nighttime is punishable by death. Harry
will tell you that.

Where is that?

If an individual climbed through a rear window of my house in the middle of the night, there's a
damn good chance said individual would get shot.

Ask your buddy, FOAD, how he'd have handled the situation.

Harry would have broken his legs with a truck.

Personally I think it's better to save the tax payer's money and
eliminate repeat offences. There's also less risk of having your
insurance rates go up.

I'd shoot the sucker. Period. Once someone breaks in, he's a home
invader as far as I am concerned. In the good old days, I rammed a home
burglar with a pickup truck. At the time I had no firearm and I wasn't
in the house. The guy must be out by now. He drew a 20-year sentence,
but I'm sure he didn't serve all of it. Big-time burglar and drug dealer.

Entering someone else's through a rear window? Give me a break.
Would you have offered him tea and cookies?

Imagine what a schmuck you'd feel like if you didn't give the kid 10
seconds to explain himself and found that you'd just shot your
neighbor's kid who was too drunk to know the difference between
houses.

You want to carry that kind of weight around for the rest of your
life, like your compatriots here?

Ya'll put up a brave face but I have to wonder how many nights you'd
sit awake wondering how that kid's father and mother feel.

The callous responses here are astounding. Christians, no doubt.
