OMG, that's hilarious. Tim's kinda Jesus. No it's not. Maybe it's actually yours? Oh golly, my bad. Thought you were into guns like your winger brethren here. This Rambo Jesus represents everything the fundamentalist movement in Merica is about. Support the death penalty, support war, support killing doctors who provide health care to women who want abortions. They want "freedom" but desire the power to control women's reproductive choices? They hate immigrants, people of color, fags, liberals and whomever else threatens their status quo or Tim Tebow. Real Christians are saddled with the proximity of these misogynistic, paternalistic, violent sects of Neanderthal "Christians." Which is unfair since Neanderthals didn't get a chance to believe in Jesus. Wow, such self-interpreted theology! Awesome that SNL put into pictures what most of us liberals witness in the fundamentalist movement. Merican Taliban. No, they put into pictures what you want to believe. No, they are just putting in pictures, the hate the left has for anybody that isn't them... It's kind of like when I lived in the south with the KKK all around. You're living in a dream world. I live in the south, and I've seen no first-hand evidence of the KKK in 40 years. Except for a few holdouts in MD at their headquarters, they seem to be a dead org. |

Well, it was pretty active where I was in Huntsville Alabama... Mostly out in Boaz, and Decatur where the Imperial Wizard lived at the time. I walked into homes where the plaque was predominantly displayed on the walls, I saw organized "outings" for the Youth Klan Organization... Don't fall into the same mindset of kevin, and harry, where if you don't see it from your cubicle or basement, it's not there... Bull****. You always do the same thing when you get caught in one of your lies, claim that everyone but you lives in a cubicle or basement. You are nothing but a liar, a vulgar bigot, and a racist. |

Christians waged wars on Jews for many centuries after the Middle Ages. Christians waged war against Muslims in the 1990s. Europeans reoccupied the holy land in 1948. That is the current crusade If you are referring to the Jews, they were occupying the "Holy Land" long before the Muslims. Also, the day after the state of Israel was "declared" in 1948, the neighboring Arab states initiated a war by invading. Invading or simply trying to get their land back? The fact remains that a lot of Europeans moved into a place where they had no recent heritage and claimed it as their own, much like the other dozen or so crusades. I find it funny when people who ridicule the Bible will let a group use it as the basis for a land grab. There are even a few retired IDF generals who are saying the current government is going too far, comparing them to the nazis they moved there to evade. Invading. The invasions came from without. Contemporary Jewish society and population in Israel predates 1948. |

Gore Vidal used to make a pretty compelling case that Jesus was a Rambo type guy. One example was casting out the money changers (AKA knocking over Harrod's bank). You don't think the Romans had some kind of security? It took some muscle to "scatter the coins". This is just one case where Jesus said "I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword". Harrods is a department store. You're thinking of Herod Antipas, I think. No relation to Charles Harrod. Spell check got me. I don't use speeeeelczech. But I am a lousy typist. |

The KKK is a northern organization now. Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and of course Maryland. The only KKK rally I ever saw was in Southern PG county. The PG cops were doing traffic control for them Well, in Boaz, Scottsborough, Decatur (sp?) and Huntsville, they were there. In the local businesses. They didn't have open rallies, but their presence was felt for sure in the community. Don't be distracted by the clowns that parade for the cameras, these are not the guys the minorities are worried about... |
