I prefer my own dentist in the Washington, D.C., area. Not only is he a
fabulous dentist, he devotes an entire month of his life each year to
doing charity dental work on kids in his native Korea. My kind of guy.

I don't know. But every July or August, he goes to Korea, where he's a
circuit-riding dentist, visiting orphanages for a couple of days each,
and stopping off at some free clinics. Like many Koreans, he hopes for
reconciliation some day between the two halves of his country and, I
suspect, if it ever happens, he'll lead brigades of dentists into the
North, to take care of kids there.

I suspect he does it as pay-back. He was born in Korea, came here as a
young boy, and his extended family has done pretty well here. A number
of them are involved in charitable work for the country they left behind.

Two of my wife's professors are involved in similar work at orphanages
in the People's Republic of China. The orphanages are full of baby and
toddler girls, abandoned by their parents at the doorstep because of
China's one child per family rule. These families wanted boys, not
girls. I think my wife is getting roped into "getting involved."

It takes an awful lot of this kind of work to counter the ugly American
image the current U.S. administration is promulgating.

Sorry no comment needed I only answer to add it to your other lies as
proof, if any were needed as to your mental illness, you're one sick
puppy Krause!!

No one give a crap what you think, Karen, except, maybe, a couple of
other right-wing failures of society.

That's probably not a bad idea. In many ways, Canada is far more

You are calling yourself independent Chuck? Give me a friggin' break. You
are as
left wing liberal partisan as they come.

Independent my ass.

Jim, for purposes of this statement "independent" defined anybody not
affiliated with either the D or R parties.
That would be me. I am not a Democrat.
Sure as the carbunckle on a baboon's butt, I'm not a Republican, either.

With the US it seems like a good cop/bad cop type of thing....and the bad
cop is calling the shots now.
Hopefully, things will mellow as time passes.

Norman Thomas was an independent too, I guess.

No, Mr. Thomas was a socialist.
Another party with which I am not affiliated.

Gee I don't know seems people are finally seeing you as non boating the
liar you really are, but more importantly after your stalking of Madcow
in real life, they're now on notice of how dangerous & sick you really are.

K

Here's another of those fantasy creations in his own mould, you know the
BS father stories which disclose just how mad Harry really is. Again I
doubt his nor most other fathers were as sick as Harry's fantasy
creations, although dealers are as amoral & sick as Harry.

"My father used to pray that the north shore of LI Sound would be hit by
a mild hurricane. No
one injured, no on-shore property damaged, but lots of boats sunk.
Preferably early in July."

No person or property damage indeed, you're mad !!!

Take our resident liar Harry, he's clearly of Vietnam age & just

Here in the US, expressing disdain, disgust, disagreement, and distrust of any
administration currently in power is a healthy part of self government. It may
be different in AUS- I wouldn't know since I haven't spent time there and am
not qualified to render an opinion about what type of speech is appropriate
there.

Come on Chuck you dislike, dare I say hate Bush?? but you do it in the
political manner, whereas your lying little mate actually belittles your
country, it's endeavours to protect your own citizens & much much worse
the brave souls who are out there, well out there, keeping scum like him
safe.

Many in the US would agree with you latele. Our esteemed fellow citizens who
are so quick to holler "treason" and "sedition" every time a dissident speaks
out were certainly singing a different tune just four short years ago.

For most people, it's a party thing. They're happy when one party or another is
in power, and that president can do no wrong for the duration of his term. Some
of us see the D and R parties as identical wheels on opposite ends of an axle.
They actually need one another to function effectively, and while they are
separate they are definitely connected.

Then there are others who are independent. Some of the independents sit
squarely on the differential, an equal distance from both wheel. Some of us are
so suspicious of the axle we want no part of either wheel, and we keep a bit of
distance where we (hope we) can better observe where the gravel truck is headed
and make sure we don't get run over in its course.

You have a different view to me about lots of things & that's fine, but
Harry?? no no he's one sad dangerous liar. Run the madcow stalking
episode (remember Chuck the factual elements were not just admitted he
boasted of them) past Mrs Chuck if you want a second opinion. This is
genuinely serious stuff no longer tolerated in modern societies.

You might have missed your chance with last weekend. I hope I'm wrong
though. Weather is supposed to be cool but dry. Not sure of the winds
though. Might just hop to Kelleys.

The boating weather was perfect last weekend! Saturday I filled the
petrol tanks, and got the boat up to PIB Saturday by 11:30am. Tied up at
the PIBYC, and sat out in the sun with shorts sipping cervezas. Around
5pm I showered up and headed into town for the PIB Octoberfest in town
(they keep creating these events to extend the season, and I keep coming
up).

My dad was supposed to bring his boat up, but he chickened out. At his
age, single handling, I really think he should be considering a smaller
boat, instead of his current boat which is fast becomming a dockflower.
Did manage to convince a buddy to drop everything and bring his boat up,
kids and all. I went back to the yacht club and helped them tie up. We
took the kids into town for Frosty's pizza. Then hung around the boats
until the kids fell asleep, then
went back and plundered the town retiring to our boats at about 5am.

Woke up at 9am to howling winds that blew a nasty storm right over us to
the mainland. Ate breakfast and took the dog and kids for a walk into
town. Helped the Club put away a few things (If I go back up there, it's
free dockage!!!), then laid down for a nap. By 2:30pm we pulled out under
sunny skies, with mild winds and the lake was FLAT. Even my dog, who
likes the destinations, but hates traveling by boat, was relaxed. I
should have stayed up ONE more day.

on the lake last Saturday, Wally? With the weather we had versus the
weather were having, I sure hope so.

Hi Bob,

I went to the boat, but didn't go out. I'll be there this weekend and
hope for a break in the winds.

Today sure sucks, but I'm hopeful for a break in the weather.
