you want to come by we can have a beer and maybe a boat ride.

I always assume people are basically good and given the chance they
can at least be civil, at best, be friends.

Labs don't really live that long anyway but I think he will live out a
normal life.
I am glad he is back in good shape and a happy dog again. He got his
appetite back and he is up to his normal 112 pounds or so.
