In article , says... I have owned my own business since the mid 80's. Yeah, how's that going for you? Maybe REAL employment would make you enough to provide for your family, pay your medical bills, get medical insurance, pay your taxes and other debts. I wonder how many small businesses have *not* been started due to lack of universal health care. |

The left doesn't understand that it isn't your bosses job to provide you with you the wants of life, that is something you have to do for yourself. |

A business offering its employees a good health care package can pay less in "in the envelope" salary to make up for the health care premiums. In the case of many union negotiated contracts, the total pay package includes health insurance, which the employees pay for and the employer collects. |

You ran a failed business in Florida, and failed to pay your taxes and creditors. You aren't in any position to make statements about how businesses are run. |

Harry "paid" himself the fringes before he paid the taxes and when there was no money to pay the taxes he said screw it the government already has enough money from the "right wing rectal fissures" and his wouldn't be noticed if it was missing. |

I would simply suggest you go back and check your "facts". We'll see who was correct in time. Well, since more and more employers, large and small, have for years, have been 1. off-shoring jobs 2. not rolling profits into the growth of their own companies 3. cutting back drastically on fringe benefits for employees 4. cutting back on employment And since lower and middle income families have been hit hard with stagnant or even lower pay... How would you suggest that they cover the cost of health care since in many cases they have to decide between eating and having a roof over their heads? Tens of millions of Americans cannot afford health care or health care insurance premiums, and these numbers include many who are working two or three jobs to make ends meet. The solution of course is a national health care program, but the conservatives won't let that happen. So, what's your answer? |

So what is this **** healthcare program that O'Bama jammed through congress. My costs went up, presumably to pay for healthcare for those poor people. Where'd the money go? |
