For the link challenged, it says the networks should give candidates
free air time.

I agree 100% and have for quite a while.

The problem is this is a cash cow for the media and they have no
interest in doing it. They will put in their own ad campaign telling
us how it will endanger our freedom.

Besides, without this black hole to dump bribe money in. How would the
special interests buy the government?

I don't know. That's a good question to ask the NRA, they are VERY good
at it....

The NRA doesn't even make the list

Yes, but the NRA is pumping money into politics to bolster an object
that is made for killing.

Would you feel better if guns could also be used for plowing your
garden?

There's an old saying that: "Those who turn their guns into plowshares
will plow for those who do not."

And by the way, don't blame the NRA. The NRA is doing exactly what
their members want it to. It's too bad we don't have such a strong
advocacy group for boaters. I'd join in a heartbeat.

If that is what bothers you the money from the defense contractors
should send you into a frenzy.

And it doesn't seem to bother him that money goes to Planned
Parenthood!? I smell a hypocrite...
