Granada? The Bosnians? The Iraqis? The Afghans? Are the Iranians threatening us now? If we really just wanted security for the US we would have supported the Palestinians in 1948. Of course, had we supported the Germans in WWII, we wouldn't have had to support the so-called Palestinians in 1948. If the so-called Palestinians had accepted the UN proposal for a divided nation in 1947, the problems there would have long been settled. But they didn't. |
