The family that keeps on giving...

....us laughs.

It's those "family values" Republicans again:

Sarah Palin's son, Track Palin, isn't the only member of the family who
is calling it quits on his marriage.

According to TMZ, her sister-in-law Wendy separated from husband James
Palin in July after 12 years of marriage. James and Todd Palin -- Sarah
Palin's husband -- are brothers.

The estranged pair is now in the midst of resolving a custody dispute
over their 10-year-old daughter.

Earlier this month, Track Palin filed for divorce from his high school
sweetheart, Britta Hanson, after less than two years of marriage. The
former couple has already decided how to split their property and
custody of their 1-year-old daughter. Track will keep his gun collection
and a $30,000 bank account, while Hanson will walk away with her jewelry
collection and a $2,500 bank account.

They have to work to beat the Kennedy family. Drunk drivers, rapists,

You miss the point. Stupid Sarah tries to claim the "family values" mantle
as do many republicans. The reality is that they don't have any so-called
family values.

Teddy got an annulment in order to stay "right" with the church? How is

The funny things is that you believe that Sarah Palin is still relevant.

Sarah Palin made a calculated decision to leave the Alaska Governors
office and benefit from her fame at the time. Now the Palins are set for
life.

The other funny thing is that you keep bringing her up. I think you have
a thing for her.

I never heard about Moxley or Kopeckne breaking anyone's nose or
pounding their head on the pavement.

What does that have to do with crazed vigilantes taking the law into

Zimmerman out and shot him, I'd guess that would be terrible eh? Why?
Because you, like other right wing crazies have already established in

Nobody has produced any evidence that Zimmerman was a vigilante. In
fact the number of times he called in the police seems to prove the
opposite. On the other hand, the fight the Martin people are putting
up to prevent disclosure of his school disciplinary records and
perhaps police records seem to imply that there is something there. I
suspect he was more than just a vandal and druggie (established). The
burglary tool and the jewelry seems to imply thief if nothing else.
Zimmerman was probably right that he was casing cars. We still have no
evidence about who started the confrontation but we know Zimmerman was
on the ground with a broken nose and injury to the back of his head
before he defended himself.

I still bet he walks but O'mara is doing his best to bill out every
dime of that defense fund.

He's a punk who should have listened to the cops and let them deal with
it. The outcome could have been very different. Cops have tasers and
bean bag shotguns. The wannabe cop had his gun and a temper.

If you believe Zimmerman, he was walking back to his truck when
confronted by Martin.
It is up to the state to prove that is wrong.
Obviously he did not go for his gun right away or he would not have a

I am surprised at his discipline in that he only fired one shot.
The cops in that kind of situation do a magazine dump spraying the

That certainly bodes well for stationing cops at schools or, even
worse, those with even less firearms training than cops.

I am not convinced cops really get that much firearm training unless
they are on a tactical team. That is why there was standing orders
that cops wait outside in an active shooter situation. They wanted
SWAT to make the entry.

Of course after watching the FBI hostage rescue team in action, I am
not sure I want them coming either.

Yeah, you are doing a typical job of sitting on the fence but the fact
is, we need somebody. For better or worse, weather they can execute or
not, cops get the best training of any group I can think of, on how to
handle weapons in domestic situations such as this...

The cops in that kind of situation do a magazine dump spraying the
neighborhood.

All of that is ONLY if you believe Zimmerman, who was caught in several
lies afterward. You are putting all of your eggs in a basket that a
KNOWN liar holding.

His wife was caught lying, not Zimmerman and it was only about money,
not the facts of the case.

Bull****!!The night he was arrested, he told police he had a "clean
record". Then when he was booked into the Seminole County Jail, he told
the booking officer that he had never been in a pretrial-diversion
program before, but he had. When Zimmerman offered an apology to
Trayvon's family during an April 20 bond hearing, Zimmerman said he
didn't realize Trayvon was so young. But in his call to police moments
before the shooting he described Trayvon, who was 17, as in his "late
teens." Those are just part of the lies. As far as his wife, he knew she
was lying, they were talking in code, etc. But, hey, go ahead and trust
him....

I've never convicted Zimmerman, if so please show where I did such.

*I* wouldn't have "found myself in Zimmerman's shoes," because I
wouldn't have been alarmed or suspicious about a black kid carrying a
soft drink and a bag of chips walking through my neighorhood, and if I
had said anything at all, it would have been "howdy" or "hello," which
is what I sometimes say to all the kids I see walking in my neighborhood.

I like to think I wouldn't either but 17 year old boys sometimes take
that option away from you.

Well, we have kids of all ages, including high school kids, in our
immediate area. We have white kids, black kids, oriental kids, and
latino kids in our little area, and they all have lots of friends, so I
am used to seeing all manner of kids just about every day around here,
especially after school. In fact, there are "pickup" softball or
football or soccer games most afternoons in decent weather on a big
empty lot not far from our house. I've also "hired" the older high
school boys to do miscellaneous yard chores for us. I doubt the Martin
kid and I would have exchanged anything more than a nod or a hello. A
kid carrying a soft drink and a snack wouldn't get a second glance from me.
