Who said there was a shortage of simple-minded followers for demagogues
like Huckster Huckabee?

I won't be, Harry, but there's plenty that you could say the same
about our president, too

... a terrorist organization?

Wikipedia has a handful of scholarly or semi-scholarly definitions of
terrorism. One of these states that a terrorist organization:

If wikipedia is to be used as the source of authority for terrorist
organizations all you need to do is get an wikipedia account and change
any datum you want to classify it as a terrorist organization.

is ineluctably political in aims and motives

Labor unions.

is violent ? or, equally important, threatens violence (uh, like "cold,
dead hands?")

Labor unions.

is designed to have far-reaching psychological repercussions beyond the
immediate victim or target

Labor unions.

is conducted by an organization with an identifiable chain of command or
conspiratorial cell structure (whose members wear no uniform or
identifying insignia) and perpetrated by a subnational group or
non-state entity.

Labor unions.

Sounds like the NRA to me.

Every politician has dumb followers, but I don't see any of the
president's followers as dumb as those who "follow" a man whose entire
premise is based upon ignorance and superstition and who says things
like the cause of the shootings was the lack of god and religion in the
public schools. There is none of that moral equivalency here. Huckabee
is a huckster and charlatan.

maybe so, but you could say the same about any organization, Harry.
And that includes most Corporations as well as Unions.

Well, we shall see what happens. The only bright spots the last few days
have been the insane comments by the lunatic from the Gun Owners of
America and, of course, that loon, Mike Huckabee.

Well, Huck's statement o Facebook has gotten his thousands of 'likes'
hundreds of 'shares' and less than 1500 comments - mostly seething.

But speaking of loons. Take the article for what one will, but I'm
sure the tweets are real-

Uh-huh. Please let me know when a "liberal" as prominent as Huckabee, a
former candidate for the U.S. presidency, a former governor and a
preacher with a TV show, calls for the assassination of the NRA leader.

You had a Wisconsin elected lawmaker call for blood the other day, hours
before the spermburper attacked the tents and reporters...

Huh?
