Manhattan, and the central, most visible parts of the city and affected areas are getting the most attention. However, your son has virtually no visibility of what is really going on in the boroughs, and in areas of NJ. Manhattan is tiny compared to the devastated area. My friend's family in NJ are telling her first hand that they are seeing rampant looting, that local people are getting little to no gov assistance, that friends in NYC that they in touch with are seeing crime waves, have no food, etc. This information is just as valid as the story from your son. This is precisely the story that our MSM is not reporting. And they won't, they are the tail wagging the dog. Glad that your son and his family are OK. |
