I am looking at purchasing a 1999 2858' Bayliner that sank in fresh water in a clean northwest lake! I understand that i will probably have to replace all wiring, instruments, interior and go through the motor. I built boats for a living at a local factory so much of this i can do myself. They are asking $3600 for the boat but i think i could get it for around $2800. would this be a resonable deal or should i still walk away from this boat like so many people would do? +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: bayliner 3600.jpg | |Download: http://www.boatbanter.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=15670| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ Spend the money you would use to rebuild this boat, and buy one that's not soaked to the core. |
