Something that's sole purpose in design is killing vs. anything else.

There are about 250,000,000 guns in this country a billion rounds of
ammunition fired, that didn't kill anyone last year.

Amazing ain't it. Then you take your N Western states like Nebraska
The Dakotas, and Montana. They have more guns per capita, and the
least amount of gun laws- AND the least amount of gun crime in the
nation.

go figure.

Not really hard to figure, those states have a very low population
density, that's why crime in general is low.

There is a lot of truth to that. But also there's the notion that
people out there respect each others property and lives. Something you
find uncommon in the larger metro areas.

I guess "out there" doesn't include Mississippi:

What does that have to do with my comment concerning gun crime in the
North Western states, like Montana, and the Dakota's.

Nothing was mentioned about Mississippi, that is unless you think it's
on the border of Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, or some place in that
vicinity.

But to answer your question, Harry. My intentual meaning of "out
there" doesn't include my Mississippi.

Relatively speaking, no one lives in Montana and the Dakotas.

Earl is a gun accident waiting to happen.

Krause is a major lunatic gun incident waiting to happen. His life

about it.

Harry's gay? That explains a lot.

Harry's not cool enough to be gay...

Doesn't require a lot of ambition to buy a gun, some ammo in order to
affect retribution on a smaller scale, such as the white supremecist
did in Wisconsin.

Any jackass with a mastercard and a sick mind can do it.

And for whomever says a car can do just as much harm, I doubt it'd fit
real easily inside a Mosque where old men are praying.
Maybe we should be spending a little more time figuring out why people
do these things instead of simply trying to put everything that could
be used as a weapon on a high shelf.

This is similar to the way we are handling airline security. Instead
of targeting terrorists, we target the last weapon they came up with.
That does absolutely nothing to stop the next weapon.
Guns are designed to kill. Box cutters are designed to open boxes.
Ammonium Nitrate was designed to be fertilizer. What's your point?
Something that's sole purpose in design is killing vs. anything else.
So what's your solution, jps? Does continuous bitching in a boating newsgroup help solve the
problem?

Does your continuous drooling in a boating newsgroup solve *anything* ?
Does Herring playing golf "solve anything?" Probably just frustrates
the **** out of him, confirms his lack of athleticism and furthers his
low self esteem.

That's the perfect opportunity to blame his failures on the black man.
You lefties are over the top!

Earl, don't get down on yourself for this, but it requires a sense of
humor to keep up.

A personal attack and a racist remark don't require a sense of humor -
they are both lame and hardly funny.

You're dim enough to conclude that me calling out someone else's
racism is racist?
