Florida's Stand Your Ground Laws
Benefit Those with Arrest Records

The 119 people known to have killed and
claimed "stand your ground" were arrested
a combined 327 times prior to the incident
for major crimes, including assault, battery,
theft and probation violation. A third had
four or more major arrests, and a quarter
had 1-3 major arrests.
