It's amazing to me how these guys can lie without remorse or consequence. Messing with nuns on matters of morality have gotten Ryan the comeuppance he deserves. The problem is that poor people have been marginalized by those who want to categorize their success as the result of being smart, clever and industrious, completely leaving aside that it also takes luck and a system set up for mobility. That mobility has been curtailed thanks to the wealthy cornering all the resources for themselves. The poor will remain poor and the middle class will continue to suffer from the pillaging of the wealthy. But that won't stop idiots from voting against their own best interests. |
