Wow...GOP does something useful in Congress. Stop the presses!

NASCAR suffered a rare loss in Congress Thursday — and worst yet, it
came at the hands of a Republican from Georgia.

Rep. Jack Kingston tipped the scales in the House Appropriations
Committee, putting some Southern moxie behind what had been a losing
cause until now: Rep. Betty McCollum’s campaign to end the Pentagon’s
practice of spending tens of millions every year on costly motor sport
and fishing sponsorships to promote recruitment.

NASCAR commands the lion’s share of these expenditures, estimated at
about $80 million in 2012 altogether. And new estimates from the
National Guard show that more than $135 million has been spent over the
past five years just for the Guard’s sponsorship and branding efforts
through Hendricks Motorsports in North Carolina and the racing team of
star driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Hundreds of millions of tax dollars blown on car racing...

Could be worse... such as kiddie mini-bike 'racing'. ;-)

Awe..... how cute, emulating your lover.......

That's the guy that thinks drinking beer with your kid is quality
time... LOL!

You're the guy who thinks puttering around with motorbikes is a job.

LOL

I guess you two lovers are too stupid to know that top sponsored
motorcycle teams are multi million dollar entities, right?

Yeah, and Jessi just got picked up by a team this week. She has not
raced with them yet, but the two other riders on the team took first and

Winning isn't your goal either, eh?

Laying it all out there and seeing how it shakes out is our goal..

Ahh, the man with no plan. Figures.

Yeah right harry, that's it...

I don't know why the rest of your life will work out any better than
your life to date.

yeah, I could be a miserable old shutin like you...

Uh huh. You're in your mid 50's with no job, no assets, and no future.
You have no idea how miserable you really are.

You don't know any of that to be true.. Now tell us again about your:
Yale degree
Triple Doctorate wife
Single handed around the horn
Fathers trip across the atlantic to a fireboat welcome
the Zimmerman
The Hatteras
The women
the cars
the top secret mission in Viet Nam
working for all those presidents...

Yeah harry, nobody believes you here except donnie, and only because he
is too stupid and insecure to stand on his own... LOL...

I could 'stand on you' in about 30 seconds flat, little man.

You're a tough little bitch hiding behind usenet, aren't you?
