I can get one that satisfy the wife and i or spring another $5 or 6 k and get something a bit bigger (might be usefull if future grandkids come along) Trouble is, I'd also have to upgrade to a more powerful tow vehicke. I have an appointment tomorrow at 1300 hrs with the local Toyota dealer. They'll appraise my 3 year old car and we'll take the 6 cyl RAV4 out for a test run. This could get expensive ;-) |

If you have Carmax up there, that would be a good place to look also. We've bought and sold twice with them and been very happy. |

That would probably be the way to go. Larger sailboats (older used models) are a fraction of the cost of a new walk through windshield boat in the 16 to 18 foot range. The savings could be applied to yacht club fees. Only trouble is you are limited in sailing area unless you are prepared for serious coastal cruising. |

Nah, he really wants a 34' trawler, and he'll need a Silverado 2500 with a turbo diesel to haul it comfortably! He'll need more than that. Definately NOT enough truck. That's for sure... if I wanted that big a boat, I'd be mooring at one of the numerous yacht clubs within a half hours drive from here. Somewhere between your little 12 footer and the mammoth 34 foot trawler is your new dream boat. Fart away Flatulence One...... *I haven't owned a 12 foot boat in 15 years. Didn't take long for you to start your childish silly name calling, did it? Watch out, you of all people should know Karma's a bitch! ....and I'm just the one to teach you, Kevin. |
