What you really want is a 4wd Tundra V8. Great vehicle.

But they aren't a chick vehicle.

You have a fetish for "chick vehicles"??
Maybe a little VW Bug.. or a Fiat 500 wouid be to your liking.

The pseudo-macho boys here are jealous that you drive an economical
vehicle.

Get serious.

Nah, he really wants a 34' trawler, and he'll need a Silverado 2500 with a turbo diesel to haul it
comfortably!

He'll need more than that. Definately NOT enough truck. Try a Dodge
3500 Dually, with a Cummins and a variable power module.

I doubt Don or anyone else rational has much interest in a heavy 34'
"trailerboat" or the sort of overgrown truck you'd need to tow it.

That's for sure... if I wanted that big a boat, I'd be mooring at one
of the numerous yacht clubs within a half hours drive from here.

Somewhere between your little 12 footer and the mammoth 34 foot trawler
is your new dream boat.

If those creampuffs paid our gasoline prices, they'd be peddling
bicycles instead of driving old jeeps.

My wife started out a bit negative on mine but she's come to
appreciate some of its fine qualities. * The real clincher was driving
back to the NYC area in a driving snow storm from upstate NY. * We
were one of the few vehicles still moving in 10+ inches of unplowed
snow. * It has a very comfortable ride on long trips as well.

I liked the Tundra until they upsized them about 6 years ago.
The Tacoma would be more practical if they would raise the cab roof
and windshield about 3 inches

They're great for around town and trips, but "Economical vehicles"
don't pull [or stop] boats very well. That is, any boat of size.

I wouldn't think of hitching my 18 ft. Chris Craft behind my wife's
Honda CRV.

Thank you :-)

Stopping is really important. There's just nothing like the feel of
that trailer pushing you down the road !
