Zimmerman's statement to the police was basically the same as what the girlfriend says, before Zimmerman even knew there was a girlfriend. Do you mean the statement that the police helped Zimmerman conjure up? Since the police actually wanted to bring charges I doubt they conjured up anything helpful for Zimmerman It was the states attorney who said they did not have a case. Nothing has changed and I still doubt they have a case the state will win. This is just a knee jerk political move. Sanford PD never wanted to press charges. They barely looked for forensic evidence. There is a general to do list at a homicide scene. Barely anything normally done was done this time. False. Sanford PD wanted to arrest, prosecutor told them to release. Okay, then where's the blood splatter evidence and photos? Trajectory evidence? Toxicology, drug and alcohol testing on Zimmerman? Psychology testing done? It goes on and on. Too much CSI and not enough Oprah in your viewing schedule. |

They'll turn over what they have to the prosecutor if this thing ever goes to court. |
