Oh, so a person in Florida is automatically supposed to just do nothing when someone attempts to assault him? Then just what IS this stand your ground law for? Write 100 times: "Asking a question is not assault." But how do you know that the person asking the question isn't about to assault you? Do you wait for him to do so? Do you commit assault and battery on everyone that is asking you a question, just in case they are about to attack you? How do you know that Wilson committed an assault and battery? But, I certainly wouldn't give a stranger in the night any information without knowing who he was and what he wanted. It would be stupid to do so. |
