The 64-year-old Republican presidential candidate and former governor of Massachusetts responded with dismissive laughter last week when asked what he thought of the Chevy Volt, adding that the plug-in hybrid is an "idea whose time has not come." His campaign later went on to defend the statement as reflective of the car's slow sales ? but critics were quick to pounce. That is primarily due to the fact that critics are stupid. The ONLY thing any company should ever build is what their customer's want to buy and can afford; not some bedwetters dream of "what's god for America" or some other fairy tale. If it's a 2,000 HP truck at 3 MPG and a map pocket full of cream cheese dildos, so be it. Screw the government and bedwetting philosophy. "Americans" have made Japanese and Korean production the majority of vehicles bought in the US any way, to their fatal detriment. |
