wall street moves to destroy 'occupy wall street'

a lobbying firm has developed plans to destroy occupy wall street and
asserts a democratic victory in 2012 would be bad for wall street

so the RIGHT WING who thinks obama's a wall street stooge has a
problem:

http://openchannel.msnbc.msn.com/_ne...py-wall-street

of course they'll IGNORE THIS

So? Nothing new, we have said all along your a managed herd of
fleabaggers. And those with envy and greed of others are trivial for
unscrupulous politicians like 0bama to manage.

Ever ask yourself why Wall Street and no Whitehouse or Congress? Try
camping out in DC Whitehouse or Capitol building and see how long it lasts.

Simple, your a managed herd of sheeples.

But like dumb sheep, you will vote zero-bama.

Hilary is a ditz, her devout Muslim tag along is likely a spy, or there
to make sure the Saudi know what is going in in the government. Yep,
Weiners wife. Turns out she is US born, Saudi Muslim raised and a long
time tag along of Hilary's.

Only one reason a devout Saudi Muslim married an infidel, deceit that is
furthering the Islamic cause. As Islam men can marry/have infidels but
not the other way around. Muslim women cannot marry a infidel. The
only exception is to subvert the enemy for furthering Islam.

And government of Egypt is now Muslim Brotherhood, and no democracy,
well. looks like the web of DC corruption is even bigger.

So where is 0bama's and Hilary's rant on democracy for Egypt now?

Might I suggest their actions suggest treachery.

And the reason is they are too busy insider trading. Reid, Pelosi...

Innately corrupt. It is a precondition for the job.

Of course they want to discredit Wall Street Squatters. Simple, it is
like starting a back fire on a forest fire.

Corrupt government knows people are ****ed, they also know it could be a
Pandora's box if not managed. So what a better way than to help
fleabaggers and fleabeeggars 1) protest others so they hate government
less for blame deflection 2) discredit protesting so making arrests on
middle class protesters later becomes more socially acceptable when they
go for government next.

There is a political world war going on and fleabaggers are oblivious.
They make good pawns though.

Fact is you are a managed herd. None of this is circumstantial.
Absolutely none of it.

the GOP deregulated wall street

there was george bush who got us into a trillion dollar war w/o paying

You forgot Summers and Rubin but it is a fair assessment. Just notice
there were plenty of democrats and democratic appointees proposing all
of this and overwhelming democratic support for all of this

Do I need to post the votes again? Did you forget?

More republicans voted against the CFMA than democrats.

let's look at history, shall we?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodi...ry_of_the_CFMA

At the same time, Senator Phil Gramm (R-TX), the Chair of the Senate
Banking Committee, was quoted as insisting that any bill brought to
the Senate Floor would need to be expanded to include prohibitions on
SEC regulation of the swaps market.[55]

Democratic members of Congress later described a period in late
September through early October during which they were excluded from
negotiations over reconciling the three committee versions of H.R.
4541, followed by involvement in reaching an acceptable compromise
that left some Republicans unhappy with the final version of the bill
and some Democrats upset over the “process”, particularly the
involvement of Sen. Gramm and House Republican leadership in the
negotiations.[56]

After the House passed H.R. 4541, press reports indicated Sen. Gramm
was blocking Senate action based on his continued insistence that the
bill be expanded to prevent the SEC from regulating swaps, and the
desire to broaden the protections against CFTC regulation for “bank
products

When Congress returned into session for two days in mid-November, the
sponsor of H.R. 4541, Representative Thomas Ewing (R-IL), described
Senator Gramm as the “one man” blocking Senate passage of H.R. 4541.

and regarding the 'enron loophole' exempting energy products from
regulation, the DEMOCRATIC senate, overrode bush's veto to close this
in 2008.

AND the AUTHOR of the 2000 CFMA for the HOUSE was rep. thomas ewing,
REPUBLICAN of IL along with 3 REPUBLICAN cosponsors

AND BOTH houses were GOP controlled; ALL the committee chairman...ALL
REPUBLICANS...supported the CFMA.

AND if you go he

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/vote.xpd?vote=h2000-273

you see that the REPUBLICANS passed this bill. ONLY THREE DEMOCRATS
voted for it.

Bob I am not sure what they are really talking about. The vote you
reference was taken in June. That was before anything happened to it
in the Senate.

both the house AND senate were GOP controlled

ALL the committee chairs in BOTH houses supported the bill

The final vote on that bill was taken 12/15/2000 6:38pm: (vote 603)
That is glossed over in your article as "differences resolved"

Don't you remember your allegation of Gramm stuffing an amendment into
this bill in December?
Lets look at vote 603
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2000/roll603.xml

This is the Library of Congress,. not another opinion site that you
googled up.

an opinion site?? uh..since when is a record of which members of
congress voted for/against a bill an 'opinion'?

do you know what an opinion IS??

and let's look at what the consensus of economic opinion is regarding
the financial meltdown is, shall we??

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Gramm

In its 2008 coverage of the financial crisis, The Washington Post
named Gramm one of seven "Key Players In the Battle Over Regulating
Derivatives", for having "[p]ushed through several major bills to
deregulate the banking and investment industries, including the 1999
Gramm-Leach-Bliley act that brought down the walls separating the
commercial banking, investment and insurance industries".[16]

2008 Nobel Laureate in Economics Paul Krugman, a supporter of Barack
Obama and former President Bill Clinton, described Gramm during the
2008 presidential race as "the high priest of deregulation," and has
listed him as the number two person responsible for the economic
crisis of 2008 behind only Alan Greenspan.[17][18] On October 14,
2008, CNN ranked Gramm number seven in its list of the 10 individuals
most responsible for the current economic crisis.[19]

In January 2009 Guardian City editor Julia Finch identified Gramm as
one of twenty-five people who were at the heart of the financial
meltdown.[20] Time included Gramm in its list of the top 25 people to
blame for the economic crisis.[21]

Bob the vote you referenced was NOT the bill that passed the senate.
Read the activity. Whole sections of that June bill were thrown away
and replaced with Senate language.,
BTW it is interesting that the DEMOCRATS voted overwhelmingly positive
AFTER the Bob Gramm amendment was added and, as you pointed out, they
voted against the bill BEFORE the Gramm amendment.

it's interesting to note you ignore the wholesale sponsor of the bill
by republican conservatives, the support given to it by conservatives,
the fact it was part of a MUCH larger bill AND the continued support

I know what spin is. They want you to believe the democrats voted
against the bill when they voted FOR the FINAL bill in greater numbers
than the republicans. That is simply a lie that you gobbled up.

the lie is that deregulation works.

That was not a "government" web site. It was a COM, not a GOV.
I gave you the real activities on the bill from the Library of
Congress site (thomas.loc.gov)
It was very clear that not only was vote 297 on a bill that never made
it to the Senate Floor, it was also a vote BEFORE the CFMA language
was in the bill, yet you think it was a vote on the CFMA

.

what do they know

and i notice you IGNORE the fact the right CONTINUES TO SUPPORT
DEREGULATION

It sure looks like more democrats supported this bill than
republicans. 51 republicans voted against it only 9 democrats voted
against it.
The democrat in chief signed it too.

Are you even 52% sure you're *not* debating with 'de'plume'?
